Verafy gives you three ways to permanently delete your account. Deletion is irreversible and removes your profile, chats you originated, Vera-token balance, support history, and any other personal data tied to your account.
This page itself is a working deletion tool — you can complete the process below without installing or re-installing the app.
Option A — Delete from this page (no app required)
Verify your identity with a one-time code, then confirm deletion. The same backend endpoint the mobile app uses (DELETE /api/users/me) performs the deletion.
Other ways to delete
Option B — From inside the Verafy app
- Open Verafy.
- Tap Profile (bottom-right tab).
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm by typing
DELETE. - Your session is terminated immediately. (No confirmation email is sent — sign-in attempts with the same email or phone will report no account found.)
Option C — Email request
Email privacy@verafy.me from the address on file with the subject line Delete my account. We will verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted

What is not affected
- Local copies on other users' devices. If you had chatted with someone, the Verafy app on their phone may have cached the conversation locally. Server-side the connection and every message in it are removed immediately, so the thread disappears from their app on the next sync — but for a short period before that sync, it may still be visible on their device. Verafy cannot reach into devices it does not control.
- Aggregate counts on the Management Console (Total Users, New This Week, Users by Country, the growth chart) are computed live from the remaining accounts. Your account is removed from those counts; no separate anonymised copy of you is retained.
